The GuruNet card adds Ethernet connectivity to the Commodore Amiga computer. Installation is easy, it just connects to the parallel port. No need to open the computer for installation.
Using readily available TCP/IP stacks and Browsers, you can connect your Amiga to the internet using a standard CAT-5 cable. Great amiga network card.
Works with A500, A600 A1200 A2000 A3000 and A4000. Compatible with PlipBox open source firmware.
Experimental Support for A1000:
This mode has not been tested, but the GuruNet can be reconfigured for the A1000 by removing the 0 Ohm resistor at R7 and replacing it at R6. The A1000 must have the proper complement of firmware, memory, and software to connect to the internet. Most systems will require a Kickstart upgrade, more memory (amount depends on the TCP/IP stack and Browser used), harddisk or SDCARD storage.
